CARE GUIDE

Your linen garment has been pre-washed and softened, so it won’t shrink as long as it’s properly cared for.
Yet, we still have some general tips for you when it’s time to wash your linen piece.
-
ORIGIN
Each SOLI item is handmade - locally crafted in Lithuania, from medium-weight natural linen (200 g/m²) that is OEKO-TEX® and EUROPEAN FLAX® certified.
-
TEMPERATURE
Opt for machine wash at 30-40°C inside out or a hand wash using lukewarm or cold water to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fabric's integrity. Hand washing in cold, soft water can prolong the fabric's lifespan, especially for delicate items.
-
GENTLE CYCLE
Opt for a gentle or delicate washing cycle to minimize wear and tear. Avoid overloading the machine and mixing heavy garments with linen to prevent wrinkles and potential fabric damage.
-
MILD DETERGENT
Use a mild, natural liquid detergent specifically formulated for delicate fabrics.
-
SEPARATE COLORS
Wash dark and light-colored linen garments separately to prevent color bleeding. Initial washes may cause some dye bleeding, so separate light and dark colors accordingly.
-
DRYING
Tumble dry on low temperature only or simply leave the garment to air dry.
-
IRONING
Set a medium heat to iron in order to remove unnecessary wrinkles from the inside out.
-
THINGS TO AVOID
Avoid using bleach or harsh chemicals, sunscreen or chlorine remains in the machine tube. We also advise you to avoid dry cleaning.
-
BE AWARE
Linen becomes softer with each wash, so don't be alarmed if it feels stiff after that initial first wash you complete.
